Expected whelping date for Golden Fields Miss Alexis-Oli (Alex) and Riverwoods Heza Wild Game Keeper**MH (Keeper) is November 2008.
Alex is a 5yr old dark golden, weighing around 60lbs. She was bred with intentions of being a hunting dog/companion. She holds true to her pedigree! She is a lean, longer legged golden, very beautifully structured, and can hunt in any conditions. She will hunt hard for you all day, and then curl up on the couch with you at night. Alex has been OFA excellent, cleared with CERF, and Congenital Heart Disease.
Keeper is a 65lb golden with pure athleticism. He earned his Master Hunter at the young age of 25 months. A Rooster son and out of a dam who is a Hunting Retriever Champion, Utility Dog Excellent, and a Master Hunter, talent abides in his outstanding pedigree.
Keeper is fast, strong, handsome, and an outstanding water dog, as said by his owner, Nancy Miner of Miners Kennel.

Golden Retriever puppies born on 8/7/2008. Five girls and four boys!
What do you get when you cross a Wild Turkey and a Roux??
Just awesome, multi-talented puppies, that's what!
The sire is Tommy, OTCH U-UD High Times Wild Turkey UDX, JH OBHF and
Roux, SHR High Times Cookin' Cajun SH WCX GCG, with one Master leg
Tommy is a Soupy (2004 Obedience Dog of the Year) son and a Rooster
grandson! Tommy's father, Canyon, is a pleasing combination of
breed/performance. Tommy finished his OTCH in six show weekends. In his
owners' words, Tommy is sweet, funny, smart and willing. He is an
eye-pleasing combination of working-drive field lines and performance
enhanced breed type. He is a young dog and will be continuing on in his
field endeavors in the near future.
Roux lives to work and retrieve. Her father, Rooster, is one of the most
important contributors to Golden Retriever field lines in this decade,
passing down health, longevity, desire and intelligence, not to mention
incredible character and temperament. Her mother, Finn, is a hard driving
dog with a wonderful work ethic. Roux is an affectionate house dog, very
quirky and smart. In the field, she is powerful and just explodes when
covering ground. She loves her birds. Roux "Wows!" people watching her
work.
We are planning for pups with the combined talents of these dogs...not to
mention solid, good looking,healthy puppies.
